CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Club membership is limited under the terms of the insurance policy to 120, but at the moment we have a little over 100 members, so currently there is no waiting list.
Benefits of Club Membership:
Members are entitled to the following ‘perks':- Reduced weekly Table Money
- No Table money at all on ‘Christmas Party Night’ in December - the cost is £5 for non-members
- Eligibility to win one of the season-long ‘ladder’ awards
- Opportunity to be selected to represent the club at the major Essex invitational events – The Fletcher Trophy, the Cup for Clubs, and The Helliar Trophy (which also doubles as the Essex heat for qualification for the English Bridge Union's Garden Cities Trophy
- Access to the club's private 'members only' area on this website (members need to provide an e-mail address in order to activate this feature)
- Members of the club automatically become members of the EBU, and that membership also brings benefits
